On 20th June 2014 Elena Turco, Dissemination Leader of REWARD project, visited the Eurosatory 2014 exhibition in Paris (http://www.eurosatory.com), one of the largest Defence and Security Exhibition. During the event contacts were taken with stakeholders (Ministry of Defense) and with producers of commercial products for nuclear radiation detection. It was a good opportunity to present REWARD project and to disseminate the preliminary programme of the final REWARD public workshop.
On 18th June, Alberto Fernandez, technical coordinator of REWARD project, was invited to give a 15-minutes presentation in the Conference Work Session of CISTI 2014 the 9th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies in Barcelona.

The first on-field testing campaign of REWARD project took place in Naples from 12th to 16th May 2014 at the Headquarter of Provincial Office of National Fire Corps, where the radioactive sources were deployed, and at the Headquarter of Civil Protection Campania Region, where the control room was installed. During the first field test the radioactive background of the area was measured and two radioactive sources were detected and identified.
